Ecofarm Ostrov
is situated at the Veľkolélsky ostrov Island near Komárno town and offers accommodation and program in nature for the whole family. Our aim is to help visitors of the Danube floodplains to feel pleasantly and strengthen the connection with abundant nature. You can either choose from the existing offer of our ecotourism activities or spend your free time according to your own imagination. Visit us and get to know the remarkable and rare nature of the Danube floodplains.
The season at the farm starts in May and it ends in September/October.
Horseback riding begins in March depending on the weather. Please book your ride at least 3 days in advance.

Close by the ecofarm you can find a vast campsite area with different accommodation options available.
A significant renovation in the Ecofarm area is the historic granary from the xy year. The reconstruction of the original building was successfully finished in xy. The aim of the reconstruction was to preserve an original building and to create a hospitable space for environmental education and workshops. At the moment, an interactive exhibition about habitats of the Danube floodplains is being carried out.
In the main building of the farm, where you find our buffet as well, we are happy to provide you information about our farm, hiking maps with three different trails in the island and also about possibilities on how to spend your free time. One of the most popular activities is horse riding, birdwatching or boat trips on the Danube river around the island.
